Personally identifiable information, including your name, password, phone number, and email are stored separately from metadata (e.g. your current location, the last time you logged in). We make sure to use the latest in authentication technology to keep your account and data as safe as possible.

We employ 128-bit HTTPS encryption on all fronts of the CE App to ensure that the data you’re sending can’t be sniffed by third parties. This comes in handy whenever you use the CE App from insecure locations, including hotels, coffee shops, campuses, and other shady or unreliable establishments. More importantly, your password is salted and hashed in transit, which means that no one but you knows about it.

We’ve applied several methods to “harden” our network security, but nothing beats the amount of assurance Cloudflare provides to end-users and developers. With Cloudflare enabled, users can expect consistently fast, secure browsing from North America to Asia. Cloudflare provides SSL/TLS encryption alongside the aforementioned HTTPS encryption. Cloudflare’s “Zero Trust” access and firewall combine to provide next-level security for our users’ data. Through Cloudflare, we can provide trusted and reputable security against cyber attacks such as DDoS.
